For our first week at college we did pictogram photography. I started by placing my objects onto the light sensitive paper beneath the enlarger, I then proceeded to put the light on for 4 seconds before I started the developing process.
For this process you would begin by by putting your photo into the developer for
30 seconds, this will bring out the picture onto the paper. You will next put the paper into the stop bath for 1 minute this stops the photo developing any further. You then place your photo into the fixer for 5 minutes which fixes your photo so that when you take the paper into the light again it wont change. Finally I put my paper into the water for 5 minutes to rinse off the chemicals.
